Welcome to a new year of environmental learning and action! Here are a few dates and events to note as you get back into the swing of things.

This year, we’re bringing together EcoTeams, teachers, school staff, outdoor education centres, administration, partners, and the general public for a day of learning and networking focused on building environmental leadership in our school communities.

Sarah Flisikowski, a longtime EcoTeam member and environmentalist, shares her experiences with the EcoSchools program throughout her education and how it has impacted her life.

During the last 12 years, the Ontario EcoSchools program has experienced sustained growth: from 100+ schools certified in 2005 to over 1,800 schools certifying in 2016-17. This exciting momentum has led us to become a charity!
