Get a head start on EcoReviews

Please note that Friday, January 26 is the deadline to input your initial EcoReviews. If you need a refresher, watch our How-to video and use our Energy Conservation resource package to organize complementary activities, from putting up Lights Off and monitors Off stickers to planning energy-related lessons. 

Here are a couple of tips on making the most of the process:

  • Engage students by having them take the lead. Going from classroom to classroom to assess school-wide behaviour is a fun way for students to be ambassadors for eco-friendly practices!
  • Schools must input 18 out of 18 EcoReview questions (2.1-2.9 and 3.1-3.9) by January 26 to be eligible for certification.
  • Remember: the point of these EcoReviews is to assess how you’re doing and spark goal-setting for the rest of the year. If your EcoTeam is not attempting or addressing a specific question, please select a level 0.

EECC requirements for January 2018

For EECC schools, be sure to upload your Yearly Planner and EcoTeam Pledge into your online application by Friday, January 26.

Last but not least…

Don’t forget to register for certification this year. All schools, even returning schools, need to register every year. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’re having trouble getting your school registered!
