“Two grade 9 de-streamed Geography classes participated in the climate change escape room. Students were placed in teams and worked collaboratively to complete this climate change task. The escape room was a great way to connect what we were learning about climate change in class to real-world world examples and best-practices.”

“Members from the EcoSchools club played the game and created a worksheet and instruction guide to play the game. Grade 9 Geography teachers played the game with their students in the classroom for them to be engaged in Climate Change education and help them learn more about the impacts of Climate Change and the solutions to improve our future.”

“Playing this game echoed the goals and values of what our council has tried to spread awareness about and accomplish this year. The game’s central focus on working together and taking action to solve the climate crisis led to discussions on youth advocacy for the environment and the actions we can do in the present to help out.”
