We’re thrilled to announce our two keynote speakers for #SuperConference2019!

Our opening address will be delivered by youth filmmaker and climate activist Slater Jewell-Kemker, creator of the environmental film Youth Unstoppable. Eight years in the making, and beginning when she was just 15, Youth Unstoppable documents Jewell-Kemker’s journey around the world attending environmental summits and filming the challenges and struggles of the Global Youth Climate Movement.

The closing keynote will be delivered by World Wildlife Fund Canada President and CEO, Megan Leslie. Prior to taking the helm at WWF-Canada in December 2017, Leslie specialized in ocean governance and conservation at the organization. She has been a Member of Parliament representing Halifax, during which time she worked to tackle issues such as plastic microbeads and the creation of Sable Island National Park Reserve.

Slater Jewell-Kemker and Megan Leslie will join a roster of 30+ presenters, and a selection of eco-exhibitors at the SuperConference on February 14, 2019.  To read the full bios of the Keynote Speakers, and get the special Early Bird ticket price (ends December 3), visit: superconference.ontarioecoschools.org.
