Feeling energized and excited to share all the eco-activities you’ve done this year? We can’t wait to meet you during a school visit! For schools not scheduled for a visit this year, we look forward to reading your application.
This year we have hired over 25 keen assessors to visit schools, meet EcoTeams, and learn about all the hard work you’ve done.
We recommend doing the following to make the most of your visit:
- Once you know the school visit date, communicate it to all EcoTeam members.
- Get your EcoTeam ready! It’s easy to forget all the wonderful activities you’ve led this year; take some time to review highlights to show off and celebrate during your school visit!
- Show us how you’ve been spreading the word about good environmental practices: make sure any displays, posters, and bulletin boards you have worked on this year are prominent so that your assessor can appreciate them and take photos.
- Pick a couple of campaigns, lessons, or practices that your EcoTeam feels represents your school’s unique eco-spirit to share with your assessor during the Q&A portion of your school visit.
