Now that you’re settled into the new school year, build momentum for your EcoSchools program by registering for an after-school webinar and visiting our new Videos page. Plus, we’re excited to announce our 2018 SuperConference on February 22, 2018!

  • Get certification support by signing up for our November after-school webinars. These webinars offer all members of the school community a chance to learn about the Ontario EcoSchools program and get a host of ideas on planning lessons, activities, and campaigns throughout the year. They are free to attend and delivered in English and French.
  • Workshop highlights: We have been travelling around the province delivering workshops to new EcoTeam leads. So far we have been to Barrie, Brampton, Hamilton, Sudbury, and Dublin, meeting with nearly 100 educators and school board staff. Joining us for a workshop in the next couple of weeks? We invite you to share your experiences on Twitter by tagging your school board and @ON_EcoSchools and using the #OEkickoff hashtag for good measure!

  • Platinum deadline: A reminder that Friday, November 24 is the Platinum Yearly Planner deadline. Review all requirements online and contact your board representative with any questions.
  • Save the Date for our 2018 SuperConference! We’re excited to announce that our 2018 conference will take place on February 22, 2018. The SuperConference will bring together student leaders, educators, School Board staff, experts in the field, and more, for a full day of networking and learning.
  • Call for SuperConference Presenters: We are accepting applications to present hands-on workshops of between 50 and 60 minutes. This is an opportunity to connect and share your expertise with student leaders from across the province. Please apply by completing this form by Friday, November 3rd.
