Submit by April 28th
There is just over a week left until the deadline to submit your online application. We have been sharing #CertTIPS to help you out, so if you’re on Twitter, search for the hashtag and you may find a new tidbit to help you out with the last bit of your application.
Already set to submit? Get your application in by tomorrow (April 21) before midnight for the chance to win a $150 gift card from Mountain Equipment Co-op.
Finally, be sure to recognize and celebrate your EcoTeam’s efforts once submitted!
School visits
Speaking of celebration – it’s our favourite time of year! If your school is due to receive a school visit this year, you can start looking forward to it! School visits are a prime chance to share projects and initiatives that your EcoTeam are most proud of. We know that it can be challenging to include every eco-activity you did during the year in your application, so we encourage your EcoTeam to do some show-and-tell. Our assessors are always excited to hear more.

Claim spring activities
If your school is doing field trips, class projects, or campaigns after the April 28 deadline, you can still include them in your online application. Simply submit planning notes and the date the activity will take place; be as specific as possible about how your campaign is grounded in learning about a particular environmental issue. See below for an example of claiming a campaign that will take place after the deadline:
