This spring Ontario EcoSchools worked in partnership with the Ministry of Energy to collect and share stories about inspiring EcoSchools across the province.

One story focuses on secondary students that were featured at summit talks at COP 21 and hosted a conference on the critical issue of algae blooms in Lake Erie. Another story features a school that reached beyond its school walls to encourage business owners to reduce waste. The third story features a month-long whole-school inquiry-based learning module exploring the question “Can we live solely on renewable energy?”
