Welcome to a new year of environmental learning and action. In 2014-15, our community grew to include 1,762 certified Ontario EcoSchools from 52 school boards. We are excited to support schools in their upcoming eco initiatives – and warmly welcome those new to the program!
Here are some resources to help plan your greenest year yet.
- Our Certification Guides are now available. Click here for Certification, Platinum, and EECC Guides.
- Registration is NOW OPEN. We are launching a NEW student-friendly platform, including new member profiles, easy-to-use templates, streamlined questions, and school homepages. All schools, new and returning need to register their school to be eligible for certification.
- We’re gearing up for fall workshops, be sure to contact your board representative for more information. Don’t know your board rep? Email info (at) ontarioecoschools.org to find out.
- Our student-featured Getting Started video is the newest contribution to our video library. It provides a ‘how-to’ overview that covers the six program sections, tips for timing your initiatives, and ways to select projects best suited to your school. The video is an excellent way to kick-off your year: share with administration, parents, and other students to spark support.
