Submission Details

To those who submitted presentation proposals for the EECOM 2021 conference taking place in April 2021 (formally October 2020), thank you!

While we had aimed to send out proposal acceptances by March 31, we realize that this is no longer practical due to the uncertainties of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Sending out proposal acceptances is an important step towards finalizing the conference program, and requires presenters to commit to registering for the conference.

While decisions have been made about which proposals have been accepted (therefore there is no need to re-apply), we cannot ask presenters to commit to making a presentation at a conference that is a year away in such a time of great upheaval. We remain uncertain as to when ‘normal’ work activities can resume for any of us, and we are sensitive that many presenters may face very different working conditions when they return to work, making it impossible to commit to presenting at the EECOM conference at this time.

Therefore the process of sending out acceptances is on hold for now; we truly appreciate your patience as we wait for greater certainty before sending these out to all who have applied to this conference.
