Emissions Reduction Leadership for K-12 Schools
The Commercial Real Estate Sustainability Trailblazers (CREST) awards honour school board facilities and energy managers who take action to drive down emissions. One Ontario school board will receive this CREST award for the largest carbon emissions reduction in a single school building between September 2023 – August 2024, and September 2024 – August 2025. Apply today!

July 17, 11:59 pm
The winner will receive a CREST award, national recognition from EcoSchools Canada, and an invitation to attend the BOMA Awards Gala in Toronto on September 17th, 2026.
How to Apply:
Easy to enter via Energy Star Portfolio Manager

Choose Contacts from the top right menu. Then add BOMA TORONTO to your Contacts by clicking on “Add New Contacts/Connections.”

Share the school with the highest carbon emissions reductions by selecting “Share with Your Utility or Service Provide for Exchanging Data.” If you are unsure which school to choose, share multiple schools separately.

- Select “BOMA TORONTO (BOMATORONTO)” as the web services provider.
- Click on “Select Properties” to choose the properties you want to share.
- Select “Bulk Sharing (Simple Option)” to grant either ‘Exchange Data Full Access’ or ‘Exchange Data Read Only.’
- Finally, click on “Authorize Exchange.”
