Track your school’s energy use, calculate the associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and get inspired to reduce your energy footprint.

Did you know? Greenhouse gas emissions are often organized into three categories called “scopes” to make them easier to track.

Collect 12 months of your school’s energy data, including:

Scope 1 (heating and cooling): Fuel type and monthly consumption for heating and cooling your school building.
Scope 2 (electricity): Total electricity used in kWh each month.

Send your school board facilities department or school administrator a school energy data request, using the Data Request Form.
